Technical Resource
Management Company provides Internet and Internetworking Solutions for
business and home users alike. We will assist you in making an
informed choice regarding what the ideal connection is for your
particular business or home situation. This connection is used
primarily for accessing World Wide Web pages, downloading, uploading, and transmitting
files. Of course the WWW can be leveraged in many other ways to
benefit you and your business!
The World Wide Web has been in existence for many years and has become one of the most useful communications tools for computer users; literally all over the World. There has been an amount of confusion defining the 'World Wide Web' and the 'Internet'. They are not the same thing. Although the World Wide Web does encompass the Internet, the WWW does not represent the entire Internet infrastructure. The Internet can best be described as the vast total network infrastructure of interconnected computers and sub-network systems connected by telephone lines, broadband products, cables, and communication satellites. It is not uncommon when describing the Internet and the World Wide Web to think of them as being one in the same. In reality they are two different entities. The World Wide Web represents the resources available on the Internet. The World Wide Web could not exist without the Internet network infrastructure. Hyperlinks are the most common way for a computer user to access information available on the World Wide Web in order to retrieve that information and display it in their "web browser software" on the computer screen. Therefore, most web sites and web pages are located on servers hard drives (special computers) all over the World!
